Hunter's new 33e, which is a redesign of the previous 33' by Bill Dixon receives praise from the Cruising World judges. Readers should note the original boat was designed by Glenn Henderson and Hunter's new partnership with Bill Dixon has brought some fresh innovation into the Hunter lineup. With a redesigned transom (more full aft section), cockpit (with fold down passerelle style swim platform), and some modifications belowdecks, make the new Hunter 33e is substantially faster and more comfortable than the previous model. On the delivery, the crew had noted they were able to get the boat going well over 8 kts.
